Hi! My name is Pamela Bundy and I am a Christ
follower.My life's journey has taken
me down the path of marriage, divorce, singleness, parenting, and now grand
parenting and aging parents. I have learned and I am still learning that in
Jesus Christ there is unconditional love and forgiveness for a repentant heart.
There is healing and a truly abundant life for those who trust and obey our
loving Savior and Friend. It is my heart's desire to come alongside and
encourage other women, young or old, to develop a deeper love for and devotion
to the Shepherd who so kindly loves His sheep.
Several years ago, while serving as coordinator of women’s
ministry at my church, God called me to this work of Life Touch. From the beginning it was by Him and in His
timing as I was certainly not capable of this task. Each step of the way He guided and
provided.The lessons learned and the
growth accomplished while working with these godly women are second to none.Enjoy Life Touch. My prayer is that it will help you to love
God and others more abundantly.
God's call on my life in writing this shepherding
training material was very much about the process of being in relationship and
community with the five women authoring this work. I'd come to realize in recent
years how much of my Christian experience was in isolation of others and God
was calling me out to something more of the abundant life that He offered. It
is in relationship with others that we truly learn how to love as Christ loved.
As a core of five strong women, working together to produce this work has been
a transformational tool in God's hand. My hope and prayer is that He uses this
work to transform your life and those He calls alongside you as well.
Years ago, God gave me the desire to encourage women in
their walk with God. He has blessed this passion repeatedly as He’s presented
opportunities to come alongside women. He has called me to lead, teach, and
exhort women in their daily walk as we serve our awesome God together.
Participating in writing this manual is another way He has given to guide women
in how to do the same thing He called me to do. My prayer is that He uses this
to teach many women who have the heart to extend hands of love and grace in His
name and ripple His plan of discipleship as He desires.
My greatest desire in ministry is to see individuals begin to come to
the understanding and experience of a loving and ever present God. I believe
this happens when we take the time to learn the discipline of listening to Him.
When we do this, we are encountered by a God who actively and unconditionally
loves us; one who by His Spirit really lives His life through us. Only when we
are hearing Him consistently can we truly obey Him. Then we can walk with
others and encourage them to do the same. And we will be living out His plan and purposes for our lives.
